October 30th at PAM Transport was a time to recognize the incredible technicians who keep our trucks and trailers moving. We used this day to acknowledge and value our maintenance team and take the opportunity to show gratitude through lunches and festivities. Each of the 13 terminals had its own unique way of celebrating, but they were all connected on a virtual meeting to share the experience.
An appreciation raffle was held across terminals and winners were drawn in real-time via the virtual meeting. With over 50 raffle winners, many of our technicians went home with prizes such as an iPad, Yeti Tumblers, and gift cards. These prizes are well deserved and serve as a token of our gratitude for everything our technicians do.
Here is an inside look at technician appreciation from a few different terminals:
Tontitown
At home base, we expressed appreciation for our technicians with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. The team got together to enjoy each other’s company and have a delicious meal. This group took some warranted time for relaxation as they were recognized for their crucial support.
Irving
The maintenance team enjoyed burgers and cookies out in Irving and had the chance to play Baggo and football with their colleagues after lunch. Christian S., Regional Maintenance Director at Pam Transport, was in attendance. He expressed how much PAM values the hard work of its technicians, highlighting that they’re a vital part of a team that extends beyond just the shop they work in. “Our trucks go all over the nation, so the impact of the work they perform is felt across the network, and anywhere that a truck or trailer will go,” said Christian.
Laredo
Brisket tacos and burgers were cooked by the Shop Manager and Operations Team for technicians in Laredo. This team celebrated with cornhole, Jenga, and even karaoke. Kayla F., Warranty Coordinator, who joined the Laredo terminal for this event, shared her appreciation for the technicians. “The daily flow in the shops hinges on the ever-changing demands of the business, and our techs are the unsung heroes of keeping our operations running safely and efficiently,” said Kayla. She expressed that it is vital for PAM to celebrate wins in our company. “Our technicians are a huge part of our success!”
Little Rock
In Little Rock, the Operations Team cooked lunch for their technicians. Vice President of Maintenance Shane B. traveled to NLR to join the celebration. Shane shared a few sentiments on the essential work that our technicians do day-to-day. “One of the most important things we can do is recognize the hard work and dedication they put in day in and day out to keep our fleet in optimal shape and running safely down the road,” said Shane.
Thank You!
From Tontitown to Irving, to all the terminals in between, we cannot thank our technicians enough. Their constant efforts to keep our drivers on the go and our company successful are inspiring. Here at PAM, we are so incredibly grateful to have a strong team of technicians across our terminals.
